101.9 - the clock just stopped on going home. He has to be fever free for 48 hours + negative blood cultures - this room is getting smaller and smaller....
It took three of us to get Alex's nasal swab. I sat Alex in between my legs, and wrapped my legs around his, then held his head with both hands. Eric held Alex's hands, and the nurse took the swab.
On November 10th, 2008 our family was devastated when our then 3 1/2 year old son was diagnosed with cancer. Our lives were changed forever.
This blog was created to share his story as he, along with his family and friends, battled Non-Hodgkins Acute Lymphoblastic Lymphoma (T-Cell Lymphoma). Alex took his last dose of Chemotherapy on November 21, 2010.
On April 29, 2011 at age 6, Alex was diagnosed with B-Cell Leukemia (B-cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia "ALL"). This blog will continue his story, as he fights for his life again.
